Vios of the month: mma_fanatic
Since highschool, I dreamed to have a car. Maybe because of the movies like Fast and the Furious, Initial D and other car-racing inspired theme movies. When I graduated college, my father bought a brand new Vios 1.3 E. It was a graduation gift/family car because my father sold our old vehicle (Tamaraw FX) and use it as a down payment for it. I was amaze when I saw Vicky in our garage that night. I told my father if I can test drive it that night, maybe I'm just excited hehe..
Maybe it was a coincidence that one of my office mate is a member of VCP. So she told me that maybe I could join the club. At first, I use to browse the site only to find 2nd hand items, and comment on the Mixed Martial Arts Thread (that's why my forum name is mma_fanatic hehe). But when I attend the first eb at commonwealth, they showed me how fun VCP is.. They are very entertaining and they won't let you feel that you are a newbie.
After 3 months, I've started to modify Vicky. I start on the cheap mods first like HID's, FL assembly, muffler. Then when saved enough money (thanks to my side-line matting business) i bought a new pair of shoes, body kits and short-ram intake.
I really enjoyed my stay here at VCP. Even-though problem arises and bad issues struck us, Im still proud to say that I am a true viokis hehe.
Thanks to all the people who help me.. (your just to many to mention. you know who you are guys and gals)

It has been a year now since I got my first car, a surprise gift from my parents for my 24th birthday. It’s a well-maintained second-hand 2006 Toyota Vios, a 1.5G variant, with only 8K mileage on its odometer. I’ve always like to modify a car just like in a racing game (Need For Speed, Gran Turismo, etc.), but I don’t know where to start, until my brother introduced me to Vios Club Philippines and became an active forum member…
It was a grand eyeball at the Fort when I first attended an event, and I was too excited, that I’m 30 minutes earlier than the posted time. At first, I was hesitant on asking regarding car modifications, but the members/officers were very accommodating and they were eager to share ideas and tips. After that, I was attending EBs whenever I’m free.
I learned a lot from this club, not only car modifications, but on how to value true friendship. (nax!)
Would like to thank my family, especially my parents, all my VCP friends, especially to my south family. I would also like to thank Erick (Sun-X Audio), Jerome (Autobisyo), Cliffords Bodykits, North Customs and MG Classic carwash boys.

Welcome to VCP!

The Vios Club Philippines is a group comprised of Toyota Vios owners with a common objective of providing its members a setting for their unified interests. While our main offerings are maintenance, repairs, and modification tips for the Vios, the club also promotes fun and support to its member through activities and undertakings done in camaraderie and brotherhood. In the beginning... The Vios Club Philippines, or VCP as it is fondly called by its members, is a classic example of a blessing in disguise - a spin-off that turned out better than the original source. The group's birth was the outcome of what started out as minor disagreements within the first available forum for Vios owners and people who were at least interested in getting a Vios. Apparently, some of the registered users were mere individuals who were using cars manufactured by a competitor of Toyota, and just joined in the discussion boards to spite the growing number of Vios followers - owners and would-be owners alike. This grew more obvious as the arguments got more heated... |
